[Class 7 (iii)] In an anterior throttle carburetter the fuel supply to the main nozzle 4 is controlled by admitting air to the fuel conduit through a passage 7 branched off behind a Venturi. Air is also admitted through a passage 9 controlled by a screw 8, and through a passage 10 controlled by a rotatable plate valve 11.
