[Class 99 (i).] A flanged pipe joint comprises a standard flange 5 secured to the pipe 2 and a flange 3 having an inclined bore in which the pipe 1 is secured as by screw threads 7. The flange may be tapped for the whole or part of its length, in the latter case an internal shoulder is formed against which the end of the pipe abuts.
