360,587. Pipe joints. BROWNBILL, E., 61A, Bath Street, Hulme, Manchester. Sept. 29, 1930, No. 29052. [Class 99 (i).] In a pipe joint of the kind in which a packing-ring 10 is forced on to the spigot end of a pipe 18 by a nut 16 screwing on to a socket 14, the ring has a cross section in the form of a kidney orlemniscate. The ring may consist of asbestos with a thin metal covering.
