Abstract

416,733. Pipe joints. WATSON, D., 189, Brook Street, Broughty Ferry, Angus. March 29, 1933, No. 9410. [Class 99 (i).] In a pipe joint of the kind in which the flared ends of copper pipes are compressed on a double conical plug 1 by sleeves 5 and a nut 7, the extreme ends of the pipes are flanged outwardly at 4<11> at right angles to the axis, the pipe ends being drawn on to the plug without being deformed so that they are in full surface contact with the sleeves and plug.
