[Class 99 (i)] A flexible coupling comprises a flared tube end having play in a socket 8, and a resilient sleeve 3 secured on the flared end by a cylindrical metal collar 7, a flange 4 of the sleeve being secured by a coupling nut 9 to the end of the socket. The collar may be helically grooved so as to screw on to the sleeve.
