[Class 99 (i)] A pipe joint comprises a ring B within the abutting ends of the pipes supporting a packing - ring C having an external rib extendingbetween the pipe ends, and a two part sleeve D embracing the pipe ends and held thereon by a ring secured to one of the parts by a screw F. A rib on the ring B holds the packing- ring in position.
