Abstract

378,340. Hose connections. AVIGDOR, R., 102, Bergmannstrasse, Berlin. Feb. 18, 1932, No. 4888. Convention date, Feb. 18, 1931. [Class 99 (i).] The end of a hose pipe 1 is secured to the spigot 5 of a coupling member 7 by an external sleeve 2 which is compressed around the hose by a clip 4. The sleeve is formed at its middle part with longitudinal slots 3 which may have curved sides, and preferably also a circumferential groove to receive the said clip. The inner end of the sleeve may be flared and also provided with longitudinal slots.
