Abstract

359,804. Firebars. BOHRMANN, L., 5, Rossmarkt, Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Dec. 29, 1930, No. 38978. [Class 51 (i).] A :firebar 1 for fixed or movable grates has a hollow web 6, 7 thickened at the top by vertical ribs arranged in staggered relation and provided with apertures 8, 9 in staggered relation in the sides of the hollow web. Strengthening ribs 5 are provided at the lower part of the web and slots 3 for the admission of air to the fuel are arranged in the upper surface of the bar, the length of the slots being equal to the distance between the slots. In a modification the top of the bar is closed.
