346,675. Firebars and grates. GOTHARD, H. A. S. and GOTHARD, S. C., (trading as G. K. S. COMBUSTION CO.), 11, St. Mary-at-Hill., London. Jan. 14, 1930, No. 1356. [Class 51 (i).] The bars of a stationary or travelling grate are made of T-section with sinuously curved slots a formed on the upper surface b and lying at an inclination to the sides of the bar. The slots in each bar are staggered in relation to the slots in adjacent bars and elongated air spaces f are formed between the bars. The upper surface of the bar may be recessed as indicated at g for collecting ash.
