Abstract
353,682. Furnace roofs. STRUNK, E., 11, Belsize Park Gardens, Hampstead, and WINDSOR & CO., Ltd., H., 58, Oxberry Avenue, Fulham, both in London. July 17, 1930, No. 21685. [Class 51 (i).] In a furnace roof of the kind formed of suspended groups of blocks separated by filler blocks, the outer blocks b, d of each group have obtuse angled faces engaging with corresponding faces of intermediate blocks c and are provided with recesses h<1>, h<2> with which engaged hinged clips f<1>, f<2> suspended from the supporting members n, o. The recesses h<1>, h<2> in the blocks b, d are asymmetrical. Filler blocks e are arranged between adjacent groups of blocks. In a modification part of the block c extending from front to back may be double tapered and part single tapered and engage with corresponding surfaces of the blocks b, d.
