386,869. Steam superheaters. INTERNATIONAL COMBUSTION, Ltd., Aldwych, London.-(International Combustion Engineering Corporation, 200, Madison Avenue, New York, U.S.A.) June 8, 1932, No. 16207. [Class 123 (iii).] Steam superheaters comprise a main set of tubes, e.g. in general parallel relationship, and other tubes which may be portions of the main set extending transversely across them with supporting means carried by the transverse tubes and engaging the others. At suitable points transversely of a group of hairpin elements 8 certain of the elements are bent to provide transverse portions 8a carrying supporting means such as lugs 11. In a modification, each element has supporting portions 8a with lugs formed on one side only. In another the portions 8, 8a are welded together.
