Air, supplying.-A frame i on a level with the bars of a bake-oven or the like serves as a guide for a series of flue pipes g having openings e at their lower ends, and top covers m and lateral openings d. The pipes g are carried in a frame h on pivoted levers l in the ash-pit. On depressing the levers l, the pipes are raised and air is delivered from the ash-pit; on raising the levers the pipes are lowered so that their tops m are level with the grate and provide an unrestricted surface.
