351,936. Closures for tins. SMEE, W. C., 122, Leadenhall Street, London. March 31, 1930, No. 10118. [Classes 66 and 125 (iii).] A tin for perishable goods has an inner cover 2 formed with a small opening 4, the edge of which is rounded off upwardly and outwardly, the opening being closed by a tear-off strip 6 having a pull-ring secured to the neck part 7. An internally-threaded outer cover 3 is provided, having a packing ring 12 which bears on a raised rim 9 formed at the edge of the inner cover.
