472,577. Closures for bottles &c. NIELSEN, T. SCHRODER-. Nov. 27, 1936, No. 32592. Convention date, Dec. 14, 1935. [Class 125 (iii)] A closure for bottles and like containers 7 comprises an elastic skirt 1, Figs. 1 and 3, e.g. a length of rubber hose, permanently closed at one end by a metal cap 2 having a conical rim around which the skirt is spanned. Holes or openings 5 may be provided to allow escape of air or gas while the skirt 1 is secured to the cap 2 by a ring 3, Fig. 1, or by a second cap 6, Fig. 3, and, if desired, by an agglutinant. The lower edge of the skirt 1 is formed with flaps 4.
