439,065. Lids for canisters. ROBINSON, F. G., Canister Works, Southcoates Lane, Hull. Aug. 17, 1934, Nos. 23722 and 27007. [Class 125 (iii)] The cover 4 of a tin, canister &c., is adapted to make a plug fit with the free and unsupported inner edge of an inwardly directed cardboard sealing ring 3 which is carried by the mouth of the tin 1. The flange 4<y> of the lid forms a second seal with the mouth of the tin. The outer rim of the sealing ring is gripped by an annular head on the tin.
