404,592. Bottles and capsules. LANDAU, R., 19, Avenue Kleber, Paris. Oct. 23, 1933, No. 29318. [Class 125 (iii).] A bottle &c. for use with a crown-cork &c. has a cylindrical or inverted frustro-conical neck a<1> terminating in a sharply offset beading c the underside d of which is curved to determine the extent of the marginal bending of the flange of the closure cap. The cylindrical or inverted conical shaped portion of the neck is of suitable height and equal the effective length of the indentations in the cap. On the inside of the neck an annular step m having a tooth-shaped cross-section is provided to form a seal with the gasket h. The capsule is stated to snap readily into position when replaced by hand after the original sealing operation.
