349,778. Rotary pumps. WEBER, H., Spiez, Switzerland. May 29, 1930, No. 16644. Convention date, June 18, 1929. [Class 110 (ii).] Movable-abutment type.-A rotary pump comprises a piston sleeve 8 supported on a driving eccentric 7 and having fixed thereto an abutment vane 9 which is formed with a cylindrical bearing portion 19 to engage two shoes 20 which slide in a guide housing 10 formed in the cylindrical casing 1. The reciprocating movement in the guide housing 10 is used to pump lubricant which is delivered through ducts 23 in the abutment vane 9 to the shoes 20 and other required points. Rollers 22 may be fitted in the shoes 20 on their plane sides, Fig. 3. Valves 15, 18 are fitted in the suction and discharge passages 13, 16 of the pump.
