[Class 110 (ii)] The pump is provided with vanes d sliding in slots in an eccentric rotor a which is recessed at the ends f to accommodate rings g which contact with the inner ends of the vanes. The inner ends of the slots communicate with one another through the inside spaces j. The rings may be replaced by recessed eccentric discs, floating or fixed against the end walls e. The fluid within the spaces j seals and lubricates. the vanes in their slots.
