Fixed-abutinent type. - In a rotary pump comprising an eccentric rotor c with a transverse slot to receive radially moving vanes l, the outer ends n of which are bevelled in the direction of rotation so that the fluid pressure thereon opposes the action of resilient means e<1> for projecting the vanes, the rotor is cut away at o adjacent the front face of the vanes.
