Abstract
331,153. Poirmeur, L. I. Oct. 5, 1928, [Convention date]. Fixed-abutment type; packing vanes. - An eccentrically disposed rotor 2 has vanes 5 and 6 hinged to its periphery, the former pumping fluid which enters an inlet port 3 to a delivery port 4, and the latter acting as packing pieces between the two ports. Leather packing strips 7 are fixed to the vanes, and leather cheeks or the like, may be provided on the rotor ends. Grooves 10 are cut in the stator walls. The stator may be lined. In a reversible pump the vanes 5 and 6 are of equal length.
