Blades; oppositelyrunning rotor type. - Blade rings for radial flow turbines arranged to minimize the stresses caused by centrifugal force, as described in the parent Specification, have straight struts c. The invention is illustrated as applied to a radial flow oppositely running rotor type of turbine. The struts c are straight and are provided with strengthening pieces e. The blades r of the inner rotor are of flatter curvature than the blades a of the outer rotor.
