Abstract
476,222. Turbines. ESCHER WYSS MASCHINENFABRIKEN AKT.-GES. April 29, 1937, No. 12242. Convention date, May 27, 1936. [Class 110 (iii)] In a blade system in which the ends of the blades are separated by shaped distance pieces 7, 8 inserted in grooves in a ring 2 and a disc 3, the distance pieces for the grooves 7 and 8 respectively are differently formed so that the thin bladings are twisted during assembly to produce, preferably, a leaving angle which increases with the radius. The ring 2 is connected to the disc 3 by stream-lined pillars 1.
