306,864. Bruhn, H. O. Nov. 24, 1927. Indiarubber &c. solutions.-An adhesive, particularly for uniting woven materials, consists of rubber dissolved in a carbon or hydrocarbon halide, such as dichlorethylene, trichlorethylene, perchlorethylene, tetrachlorethane, pentachlorethane, carbon tetrachloride, to which is added a perfume. The solution may be made more viscid by the addition of a small amount of an aqueous solution of a salt such as aluminium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, zinc sulphate; calcium nitrate, sodium aluminium chloride, or the sodium salt of propylnaphthylsulphonic acid.
