Abstract

279,685. Wolff, F., and Selas Akt.-Ges. Jan. 21, 1927. Atmospheric gas burners.-In a burner in which gas is supplied through an inlet 2 to a ring of apertures 4 in a plate 3 and passes with air, drawn in through a tube 12 and an annular opening 5, into an annular passage, which is formed between a control body 10 and a sleeve 11 in the mixing chamber and which increases in crosssectional area from the inlet to the outlet end, the body 10 is adjusted relatively to the inner end of the tube 12, as by means of a screwthreaded rod 13, for regulating the inner air supply. The sleeve 11 may be connected by ribs with the body 10 for simultaneous regulation of the outer air supply. The inner end of the tube 12 may be provided with a bush 14.
