Abstract

Fluids, regulating volume of flow of.-A plug 8 for fitting inside a gas burner supply pipe having an air regulator 7, is provided with peripheral grooves 6, extending from end to end thereof. An extension tube 5 provided with a gauze filter 11 is fitted between the plug and the air regulator to form a gas chamber. The plug 8 which may be of metal may also be provided with a central hole or a number of longitudinal holes and is preferably tapered, conical, or rounded at the inlet end 9. A revolving collar or sleeve provided with apertures or notches may be mounted on the plug 8 for regulating the gas flow. Reference has been directed by the Comptrolller to Specification 7577/11.
