Clutches, arrangements and applications of.-In order to facilitate starting of the engine one of the driving road wheels has its hub b loosely mounted on a sleeve f fixed to the driving axle e, the sleeve f driving a slidable collar i provided with angular teeth h held in mesh with similar teeth on the hub b by means of a cap n which is screwed on, the outer end of the sleeve and counteracts a spring m tending to force the clutch teeth apart. Corresponding serrations or recesses and projections r, s are formed in the sleeve and collar to transmit the drive and to allow the collar to slide. Specification 231,610 is referred to.
