Abstract

265,220. Madsen, C. J. B., and Bang, N. C., (trading as Blicher-Turbine Co. Blicher & Bang). Jan. 28, 1926, [Convention date]. Movable-abutment type; working-fluid supply. -A rotary Internal-combustion engine comprises a rotor b with two different forms of groove in its periphery, one of which c serves for the suction of mixture past an inlet valve 3 and the compression of this mixture, into channels 26, 27 in double sliding-abutments 6, 7, and the other d for taking the driving pressure of the ignited mixture. The abutments are cam-actuated from the shaft and the ignition takes place in the channel 27 of the abutment 7 as this abutment is about to enter the groove d. The gases exhaust through a valve 4. The cooling jacket 2 is formed in the casing.
