Abstract

257,143. Viet, P. Oct. 28, 1925, [Convention date]. Starting. - Two fuel spraying nozzles 27, 28 are arranged in series and pressure air for carburation is introduced from a common source around each of the nozzles by means of separate conduits 32, 33 separately and independently adjustable. As shown, a cock 24 is arranged to put a compressed-air supply conduit in connection with either or both of the conduits 32, 33, which are fitted with regulating screws 34, 35. The fuel is supplied to the nozzle 27 by a hand pump 21 through a. conduit 30 and a multiple-way cock 25. The cock 25 can also be adjusted to connect the conduit 30 to a pipe conduit admitting fuel to the pump or to a conduit through which fuel can be expelled directly from the pump to the engine cylinders-
