Abstract

210,727. Meyers, R. J. Feb. 3, 1923, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-In an engine employing acetylene as a combustible the gas is led through the pipe 43 to a chamber 45 and thence through an aperture controlled by a needle-valve 46 into the induction pipe 47 of the engine G. In a modification the gas may be delivered directly into the induction-pipe 47 through a nozzle provided with a manually-controlled needle-valve.
