Abstract
181,860. Drevet, C. March 31, 1921. Spray carburettors.-Exhaust gases are added to the fuel sprayed in the chamber A, the mixture passing through the metal gauze or perforated plate B to the main induction passage. A plug valve D in one position closes the mixture outlet and admits air for cooling the cylinders and braking, through the orifices O, O<1>; when moved through approximately 180‹ the valve is used to throttle the main air supply. A spring stop G holds the valve in determined positions.
