Abstract

288,626. Nilsson, A. L. April 14, 1927, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-To provide additional fuel at starting, the conduits 5, 8 supplying fuel to the main nozzle 6 and the slow-running nozzle 14 are connected by a conduit 10, the control valve 11 of the conduit 10 being open at starting so that the reserve of fuel standing in the conduits above the calibrated orifice 4 is drawn through the conduit 10 into the conduit 8 in addition to the normal supply drawn through the calibrated orifice 7. The fuel is aerated by air admitted through an orifice 13.
