Abstract

229,430. Green, F. H. Dec. 13, 1923. ' Driving-gear. - The piston of a double-acting fluid-pressure engine is connected to the crank by a double-armed lever d free at all times to slide in an adjustable pivoted guide j. The lever d passes through a slot e in the cylinder wall and has a roller g which is accommodated in a recess f in the piston, a projection f<1> retaining the roller. The guide j is pivoted to trunnions j<1> which may be adjusted by a lever. The end of the lever d may be slotted and drive the crank directly by a sliding block carrying the crankpin.
