Abstract
193,651. Sidney, G. E. Feb. 8, 1922. Two - stroke-cycle engines with cylinders of two diameters compressing scavenging air in the crank case C and rich mixture in the annular pump chamber A<2>, have an automatic inlet valve F<2> for the mixture, the port F not being over-run by the piston. The admission of the mixture to the combustion chamber is through the camcontrolled valve H. Air is admitted to the crank case through a non-return valve or through a disc valve driven by the crank shaft.
