Abstract
331,899. Schl³pmann, H. March 8, 1929. Cylinders, admission ports of.-Air or combustible mixture is supplied by a pump driven independently of the engine piston to a chamber 49 in the cylinder head; it is admitted to the combustion chamber through ports 54 formed in a tubular extension to the piston. In a multi-cylinder engine the chamber 49 is common to all the cylinders.
