Abstract

148,145. Lorbach, J. April 8, 1918, [Convention date]. Addition to 147,623. Two-stroke-cycle engines.-The invention consists in modifying the arrangement and disposition of the pump inlet ports and passages of the engine described in the parent Specification. The pistons slide over fixed heads 24 in which are located combustible mixture supply passages 29 delivering into the pump spaces III through ports 30. The air inlet ports 7 in the pistons place the pump spaces II in communication with the crank chambers at the end of each downstroke.
