Abstract

196,782. Lander, C. March 30, 1922. Connecting fixed lubricators with moving apparatus.-In internal-combustion engines with oppositely-moving pistons in each cylinder, the drive being through gudgeons 10 on the pistons passing through slots 11 in the cylinders, an oil pump 26 at the bottom of the casing supplies oil to the gudgeons 10 through telescopic tubes 27. The oil enters the hollow piston and passes through the channel 30 and slots to the cylinder walls returning by the slots 11 to the casing.
