Abstract
222,003. Warnant, E. Nov. 30, 1923. Producers.-A gas producer is provided with means for introducing into the combustion zone a liquid, gaseous or pulverized solid combustible so as rapidly to modify the gas output in accordance with the amount of gas withdrawn from the producer. The auxiliary combustible is fed by means of an injector the action of which may be controlled bv hand, by the variations in pressure in the gas outlet conduit or by a thermostat in the gas outlet. The gases resulting from the injection of combustibles are transformed into poor gas during their passage through the fuel column. In a modification, the combustible may be introduced with the main air blast.
