Abstract

212,246. Ducamp, A. J. Feb. 27, 1923, [Convention date]. Addition to 210,995. Spray carburettors.-The parent Specification describes a nozzle c of comparatively large bore opening freely into the choke tube d and having a calibrated constriction k below the fuel level, a tube of larger diameter than the nozzle and arranged coaxially therewith said tube being open to the atmosphere at its upper end and closed at its lower end with the exception of a calibrated passage h with constriction l, and passages g leading from the annular space f to the bore c. The invention consists in forming, in the head of the casing s, passages t through which air flows to impinge upon and further atomize the emulsion issuing from the nozzle, and also to prevent such emulsion from adhering to the upper surface of the casing.
