Abstract
234,799. Vogel, J. May 30, 1924, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-A fuel nozzle c provided with a number of fuel orifices on the engine side thereof is arranged obliquely across the air passage a, the orifices being brought into action in succession by a slide valve f operated by a Bowden wire h or the like. A similar valve g controls the air supply. The passages for the Bowden wire in the valves and casing b are wide enough to admit a small amount of air. For slow-running, the valve g is closed and the valve f adjusted to uncover one fuel orifice, the fuel mixing with the air entering through the passages for the Bowden wire.
