Abstract

208,772. Pickard, W. Sept. 25, 1922. Spray carburettors.-Cocks g, d are interconnected with the accelerator, the cock g controlling the slow-running nozzle f<1>, and the cock d being provided with two passages, one of which controls the flow of fuel to the nozzle c, and the other controls the flow of steam through an - exhaust-heated coil e to the nozzle c. The steam is generated as described in Specification 202,866. The sleeve valve i controlling the air inlets, and the valves controlling the inlet and outlet of the exhaust gases to the chamber l, may also be interconnected with the accelerator.
