Burners, attaching.-In a liquid fuel burner holder a fuel shut-off valve or cock a carried by the holder f is operatively connected with a cover b adapted to swing about an axis parallel to the burner pinching-screw d so as, when the cock is open, to enclose the pinching-screw hand-wheel c and prevent removal of the burner e from the holder. When the cock is closed and the pinching-screw is rotated to release the burner, the cover prevents the cock from being opened by engagement with the hand-wheel. The interior of the cock casing May be connected to the interior of the holder by a passage way formed in the casting or by a separate pipe.
