Couplings, disconnectible. - Relates to interchangeable hose couplings having rotating locking-sleeves with interengaging claws, and consists in a simple construction combining with the above a screw tightening action. Each member a has a terminal flange c carrying a packing-ring e, a threaded part d, and an intermediate smooth part h. The locking- sleeves f are internally threaded, and may either rotate freely on the smooth part or screw along the threaded part. In use, the arrangement is such that, when the sleeves are engaged' and rotated as a unit, one sleeve rotates freely and bears against the terminal flange, and the other screws along the threaded part, tightening the joint.
