Shuttles, changing bobbins in, automatically.- Bobbin-transfer occurs before the lay reaches its front dead-centre position, the bobbin magazine c swinging about a fixed pivot b, and the transferring hammer f swinging about a pin on the long-arm of the transferring-lever g as the lay moves forward to its front dead-centre position. During bobbin-transfer, a spring blade e forming one closing-lip of the magazine yields, a stop s on the advancing lay subsequently engaging the blade e and causing the hammer f and the magazine to move as described above. Springs h, d, t return the parts f, c, g to normal position, wherein they engage stop-devices. A second closing-lip c<2> for the magazine is formed by the back wall thereof. A cam-lever l controlled by weft-fork or weft-feeler mechanism raises a finger m into the, path of a lay finger &c. n to cause the transferring-lever to be rocked.
