Abstract
752,766. Weft supply for looms. VALENTIN PATENT-GES., and TEXTILMASCHINENFABRIK SCHWENNINGEN GES. Sept. 24, 1954 [Nov. 2, 1953], No. 27662/54. Class 142 (2). The bobbin hammer 7 is carried by a lever 9 connected to a lever 10 which can oscillate and be moved longitudinally and carries the transfer latch 14. When the bobbin feeler indicates weft shortage the latch 14 is moved by the pin 20 of an electromagnet to position for engaging the bunter 17, so that upon forward movement of the slay 2 the hammer 7 is actuated to eject a bobbin from the magazine 6. The bunter 17 ends in a knife edge and the latch 14 has a V- groove so disposed as to rock the latch to release the latch from the pin 20. To provide for adjustment of the latch 14, a plate 15 and screws 16 are provided.
