605,758. Bobbin changing in looms. NICO TER KUILE & ZONEN N. V. Jan. 4,1946, No. 340. Convention date, May 7, 1943. Drawings to Specification. [Class 142(iii)] Non-automatic bobbin changing is effected, with the loom stopped, by placing a fresh bobbin on top of the shuttle and manually operating a transfer hammer against the action of return springs. To provide clearance for the hammer, the picker spindle is further forward than usual.
