Abstract
353,297. Weft-feeler arrangements for looms. JAMIN, A. F., 12, Boulevard St-Julien, Petit Quevilly, Seine, France. Aug. 27, 1930, No. 25615. Convention date, Aug. 29, 1929. [Class 142 (iii).] The bobbin engages a flat bevelled face 1<1> or the end of a pivotec finger 1 held obliquely to the bobbin. Nor mally the bevelled face which is grooved or striated is engaged by the weft and the slide 6 on which the finger is pivoted moves against the action of a spring 9 and moves a hook 13. When only two or three turns of weft remain on the bobbin, the finger 1 turns against the action of a torsion spring away from an adjustable stop 3, and the slide 6, remaining in the position shown, fails to move the hook 13, and the weft-replenishing mechanism is thereby put in action.
