427,535. Loom-supply weft bobbins. MASCHINENFABRIK RUTI VORM. C. HONEGGER, R³ti, Zurich, Switzerland. Nov. 23, 1934, No. 33779. Convention date, Nov. 29, 1933. [Class 120 (iii)] A weft bobbin for looms with automatic weft supply has the butt 4 of elliptical or approximately elliptical shape with flattened narrow ends 7 so that when inserted in the shuttle it will not rotate or slip on the used bobbin still located in the shuttle. As shown the bobbin has a flat body 1 with a conical portion 2 having feeler slots 3, and the butt 4 has beads 8 which are engaged by a spring in the shuttle and two lateral flats 5 which ensure a definite position of the bobbin in the bobbin magazine.
