Thread-guides.-The yarn-guide p, in a drum winding-machine, is formed of piano-wire, and comprises a block e provided with a pin d which enters the cam-slot a, and a length of wire arranged to form two sets of bearing-surfaces f, i, which slide on parallel rods g, j. To remove the pin d from the slot a, the rod j is moved angularly about the rod g which is fixed. The angular motion of the rod is controlled by a stop on the unclutching lever k, a spring o acting to maintain the pin d in the slot a. Buffer springs q are provided on the rod g.
