Abstract

201,326. Rhodes, L., Gill, H., Milnes, J., and Bentley, J. E. June 1, 1922. Thread-guides.-The porcelain guide-eyes 2, Fig. 2, employed in the ends of the detector levers 3<a> used in trap twisters, are secured in position by clips a, b on the arms of a bifurcated spring holder 4. Alternatively the securing- plate 4<a>, Fig. 5, may take over a projection 2<c> formed on the eye 2; or said plate 4<b>, Fig. 6, may be shaped to engage a groove in the eye 2. In a further modification, the eye 2, Figs. 9 and 15, is formed with a groove t which receives a securing- spring 8, Fig 10; while, when the securing-hole in the lever 3 tapers upwards, a holder 40, Fig. 16, is secured below the eye 2.
