Abstract

1524377 Bottle filling nozzles STORK AMSTERDAM BV 20 Oct 1975 [1 Nov 1974] 43033/75 Heading B8T A gas pipe 12 of a gas channel 5, 9, 12 extends below the outlet of a valve-controlled liquid passage 8 and is connected at its upper end to an intermediate member 9 housing a movable stopping member 13. In use, a needle valve 18 is opened whereby gas flows down the channel to equalize the pressure in the bottle and filling machine liquid tank when a valve body 7 slides upwardly on gas channel part 5, thereby opening a liquid inlet 8. Gas now returns to the liquid tank via the pipe 12 with the member 13 floating until the liquid level in the bottle reaches the lower end of the pipe. The member 13, which includes a magnetic block 14, then moves against a magnetic seat 20 and the increased pressure in the bottle neck stops the liquid flow. The gas pipe 12 can be changed for different desired liquid levels.
